    I can’t answer your questions about other instances exactly, but I’m sure there are.

    The card data on APBA GO should be the most recent and accurate version.

    The file used to upload data to GO is the same that would be used to manufacture a new print run of cards.

    There are many versions of cards out there, and, APBA has the ability to issue corrections to GO data instantaneously - one upload and everyone playing GO gets the correction immediately. This is mostly a good thing.

    But it is conceivable that there are discrepancies between various card versions, and even the latest card version and the data on GO.

    This is the way it’s intended to work, however, sometimes life happens, so we appreciate a heads up whenever a data inconsistency is found, so that I may notify the Alpharetta crew and ensure it’s intended and not an error.

    Thanks and have a great day,
    Jeremy

    When you want base runners to proceed normally, don’t do anything. Just ignore the tab.

    The ‘play it safe’ mode is great for slow (S) runners, when you don’t want to risk having them take an extra base (ie. a runner on first trying for third on a single… or home on a double).

    The ‘play it safe’ mode is great when you have a (S) runner on third and you don’t want him to run into a double play on a fly ball.

    The ‘play it safe’ mode is a good option when you really can’t risk having runners thrown out unnecessarily (ie. when trailing by two runs in the ninth inning, with only one runner on).

    The ‘play it safe’ mode also means that runner won’t get caught stealing. But it also means he won’t steal a base.

    Personally, I rarely ‘play it safe’ with fast (F) or average-speed runners.

    @mjack8591 HI.

    All positions have to be filled in order for the ‘Next’ button to appear in the top left of the display.

    If a position is marked red, there is something that needs fixing before you can proceed.

    If you are referring to saving a custom lineup, on some displays you may have to scroll the page down to see the ‘save’ button.

    Your saved lineup will be available the next time you reach the screen with the same team, in the drop-down menu with the default team.

    Hope that helps,
    Jeremy

    what about the times when the game makes you sub for a pinch hitter (or runner) that subbed for the actual position he is replacing? I thought I saw this somewhere but it has happened to me twice last week. I sub/pinch hit a SS for the SS. When the inning ends, the game makes me substitute again for that guy.

    @anluc7

    I will give that a try next time. In any event, you’ve just given me a good tip: hit the x? Didn’t know that would do anything.

    Thanks

    Yes, those options “snuck” by me. Thanks for clearing it up as I thought that was the issue.

    From what I understand, managers interested in replays tend to manage both sides (Solitaire mode).
    I guess that’s what I will need to do in the meantime. Thanks.

    I agree. I also dislike challenge games where your opponent tosses multiple top tier starters. Needs to be an option that starters can only start unless you are within league play with provisions for otherwise.

    @ptbenic we mostly run the leagues thru collections email and texting. It’s great. Play managers from All over the country.

    I usually use Google sheets to distribute stats and what not. Some of these guys that are more tech savvy build league web sites
