@kingman1979 Hi! A subscription is only one option. You can buy the season(s) you’re interested in for $20 each, and Custom Teams (you’ll need this to make your own teams) for $10. Single teams can be purchased for $3, but since you’re doing a draft league, might not be a good option for you.

There is no option for sharing teams, and there never will be, as we have to make money somewhere. I’d say the minimum buy-in for what you want to do is ~$30 per person.

As for Collections, check out the video here: https://youtu.be/mQqyk1KByBA

@bbourgoin you can’t. Stolen bases are a result of a play result (usually involving a runner with an11 or 10 depending on the situation).

Getting schedules and lineups for each team in order to replay seasons is something I’m looking forward to as well. I use BBW to replay full seasons for now (currently replaying the 1976 season to try and get the A’s into the postseason). APBA GO is perfect for drafting teams and playing out a season amongst friends while collections saves the stats.

If you’re interested in actual card sets, this is the list the game company provides:

You may also want to browse around this section of the store:

That said, if you want instant access to teams and seasons, check out APBAGO.com. APBA GO is the basic game online.

  • APBA BBW 5.75 vs APBA Go

APBA Go is the basic game. BBW 5.75 is (more or less) the Master Game - you make most of the steal and runner advancement decisions. There are some more defensive options (holding runners, or throwing for baserunners). There are more pitcher grades and pitcher fatigue.

I would suggest looking on eBay. Sometimes you find good deals there on card sets.

@jimrac I started out in the 70s with Avalon Hill All time All Star Baseball, moved on to Strat-o-matic and found APBA in 1984 when I went to college. Majored in APBA (full 162 game seasons each semester) with minors in Euchre, Hearts and Communications. Found APBAGo about a year ago and am now addicted to it.
