@jerrya59 It is important for the future of the game that when an error as described appears that you take the time to capture the play by play output from the screen going back as far as needed to set up the background and then save it in a word file and when the game is over, write a trouble report using the support option in the menu. When you supply the text info with the accompanying dice rolls, it will really help the game company fix these bugs. It is only when game users document their reporting of bugs with detailed information that the game can become better and more enjoyable for all.

Yes, I do the same as HOFfridge in those situations. Temporarily inserting a D-W pitcher works great. Then, at the end of the half-inning, you can re-assess your lineup without having burned a valuable player.

Ok. I understand. The problem we are running into now is in leagues or tournaments where J-4s are limited or excluded, but these guys still get to play. And their cards are usually NOT representative of the seasons statistics, but more for the career, which gives those teams an unfair edge. I am guessing these cards would have been in the “extra” set and not in the regular packs for their teams during the “good ole days”. long before there was an APBAGo. .

@anluc7 Yes, indeed. He hit .373 that year with 10 homers and 27 RBI in 63 at-bats covering 27 games. Small sample size, for sure.

@kdan Hi,

The number of players on a team’s roster should be the same as the most recent cards sold by APBA, except perhaps in the case of BATs3 Post Expansion.

I’m told APBA cards a player for the last team he played for, but perhaps someone here with more player data experience can correct me if I’m wrong (my team does not handle player data, just GO itself).

I’m not 100% sure I understand you, so my apologies if this answer does not address your question:

At this time, you can’t adjust player card values or stats.

If you know a particular player’s card data is not correct, such as typos, etc. reporting the cards to customer support will result in that information being passed on to the folks who can make corrections.

Hershiser shutout 2 outs in ninth…3 runs !

Every single time. I have even tried logging in from different PC’s using every available browser etc. Have not been able to hold a slow runner ever. Game freezes and i have to leave and come back and hope it reloads from last play. I stopped trying as many times i can never re load the game

And another one - in this case the starter was properly charged with just 2 runs, but took the loss after the first reliever let another man on and the second reliever gave up a 3R.-homer. Final score a 4-3 loss, with the Loss hung on the guy who left the game up 2 with one runner on. Interesting because a lot of managers would let a starter pitch the 9th but will take him out BEFORE HE CAN TAKE A LOSS.

@rbishop I’ve been wondering the same thing. I understand the concern of Kulbaden’s response, but APBA made the “hard copy” card version of several Negro Leagues teams years ago. I can’t understand why APBA isn’t doing this, and I’ve written them about it. For what it’s worth, I’m an old white guy, but I think the times are such that this should be an APBA priority.
