@jkoppe i just went to the store. To buy multiple seasons I clicked add to cart on season 1. The menu did not go away and I could add to cart on another season. I did this for 2 seasons and my cart total showed $40. Then I could check out if I wanted. The teams will probably work the same way. By the way I am on a PC maybe the store works different on a different platform.

An example:

In a collection where -

On the batting tab:

player_a - team1 - yearx stats
player_a - team1 - yeary stats
player_a - team2 - yearz stats
player_a - team3 - yearx stats

These stats will aggregate based on team and year.

On the career stats tab:

player_a - stats

All stats for player from all teams and years aggregated.

It’s tricky because it depends on what games, teams and years you apply to the Collection (Career is contextual to the games added to the collection, and does not include games outside the collection).

For a player who played on one team for one year, their stats will be the same on both batting and career tabs. For Collections where you have multiple years of one team, where a player hung around for 3-4 years, you’ll see different outcomes.

It was the only way we could come up with reconciling stats collection, the way the game can be played, and the possible ways users would potentially like to keep stats.

@tigerscott I have always thought relievers in APBA were overcarded. I mean… then can come in the game in real life, give us two hits and 1 or 2 starter runs, and still leave with no earned runs. APBA then grades them on that low ERA. Using WHIP for relievers or something like that may make more sense.

@wdr99 So I confirmed that the Official Scorers rules are not currently in play on APBA GO, but after discussion it’s been added to the to do list to include as an option (but it’s not an immediate priority). Cheers.

That’s exactly what I wanted to know before I bought a season in APBAGo! I’ll take it as an ‘It’s safe to buy one’ and enjoy the process w/ you!

I will say, if this does implement the draft and season replay functionality, I’ll be very happy to rekindle some friendships from across the US w/ some old friends I used to sit down and play with during lunches at work!
