Cannot change pitchers

Top picture is the screen to start the top of the 8th inning. The pitcher, Jim Bunning, had gotten the last out of the 7th inning. I wanted to go to another reliever to replace him in the top of the eighth, but the game would not allow it, shown on the bottom pic with the 9-hole not open for changes.
Why? Anyone have any idea? This one is new to me. -

Am curious… what did you do?
Did it allow you to change Bunning after he had pitched to Trosky? -
@randysteinman Yes it did allow me to change after pitching to Trosky… If it hadn’t been a league game, I would have pinch hit for Trosky to see if I could have taken Bunning out then.
