The only advantage to “stacking” a lineup would be if you had players that all hit from the opposite side of the plate from the pitchers in the other teams bullpen. If all they have are righties in the pen and all you had were lefties in your lineup, they could never get the bump-up for their relievers. The bump-up has changed the way players prepare for and draft in leagues now.

@APBA-GO-Jeremy Thanks. That helps. I was worried using a starter in relief would result in a deterioration in the starter. I guess I am forever damaged by Rick Monday’s 1981 play off home run in the 9th off of Steve Rogers (a starter used in relief) that ended the Expos’ glory years.

Your friend will get an email from Go with a code in it. He will need to go to the MY ADDONS tab on the APBAGo home page and click on the Gift Certificates tab. There is a space for the code to be entered. His account will change to reflect the amount of the certificate you sent him.

You could create a Collection for NL games, a Collection for AL games and a Collection for all games and that would give you a division breakdown and combined. It would not let you break out stats for games between divisions.

You can isolate stats for a single team using the teams filter. You could copy them out and aggregate them to separate division stats from games where teams from different divisions play each other. There is no multi-team filter at this time.

There is an export function that exports all the data from the collection as .csv files that can be opened in excel or sheets and you can manipulate the data there, for aggregation or printing or w/e you want.

EDIT: You can also exclude games from the result set by clicking the flags on the games page.

@TSBL Yeah. Lots of ground to cover before we get there, but it’s on the list.

For me, some stats in the basic game are hard to recreate, such as individual errors and singles vs grade B and higher pitchers. In the end I think APBA basic gets it right. The feel and flow of the game is more important (to me at least) than recreating every stat. Just my 2 cents. Have a great day guys.

Not sure if this is what you’re facing, but after making a pinch runner sub the game will ask if you want to make the substitution permanent and present you with the line-up screen.

You’ll see the position is listed as pr-1b in this case.

Click that button, and select 1b again to commit the player to the position.

After, you will be allowed to progress.

It’s pretty close to the Card Computer card. I give him 11-10-10 with only 10 hits. But I downgrade guys who have few PAs.
