I end up choosing the year that contains the team I am looking for to scroll, but I only have 3 seasons. It does work better for me than scrolling down the entire list.

Very useful! I had seen some behavior like that, but didn’t know exactly what order to do things. Thanks!

This issue continues to come up. I had a second column 8 hit and run yesterday and it got scored as an out should have been a single.

Is this issue being looked at and corrected?

    @adamdavidson2718 Hi!

I had to verify with the Alpharetta team to get the correct answer for your data question.

You are correct, on APBA GO prior to 1954, there are only 25 players available per team.

    Thanks,
    Jeremy

@RandySteinman It does! I’m supposed to be reviewing a fix for the issue later today.

If it’s good, it’ll be included in our next release.

    Thanks,
    Jeremy

    Hi Richard,

The game has changed over the years, and easy steals on H&R’s aren’t that easy anymore.

My old SAC/H&R booklet (purchased in 1974) had the following results on H&R plays:
13 – Strike – runner out stealing; A-C PO-SS; IF RUNNER HAS AN ELEVEN IN THE FIRST COLUMN OF HIS PLAYER CARD, HE STEALS SAFELY
14 – Ball – runner out stealing; A-C PO-SS; IF RUNNER HAS A TEN OR ELEVEN IN THE FIRST COLUMN OF HIS PLAYER CARD, HE STEALS SAFELY

However, my newer booklet (printed in 2013) has the following results on H&R’s:
    13 – Strike – runner out stealing; A-C PO-SS
14 – Strike – runner out stealing; A-C PO-SS; IF RUNNER HAS AN ‘11’ IN THE FIRST COLUMN ON HIS CARD, HE STEALS SAFELY

So, in answer to your question… yes, the rules have changed. It was probably way too easy to get a (F) runner with an Eleven on his card to second base, especially with a strikeout-prone hitter at the plate. And APBAGO reflects those newer boards.

@Oldster Hi! If you encounter this situation again, download the play by play at the end of the game and send it to support@apbago.com. It will allow us to address the play and analyze results directly.

    Thanks,
    Jeremy

@RandySteinman And it’s appreciated! The play by play was recently adjusted to list both plays and sub plays, it saves a lot of time and creates focus in debugging.

It’s been a couple of years. But same thing just happened to me again.
1921 Yankees batting against 2000 Mets (who are a Fielding Two).
Mets’ Pitcher on the mound (Reed) is a C-YZ. Bases loaded. One out. Infield in.

Dice roll is a 16 for Yankees’ hitter Elmer Miller. Play result is 28.
“Miller grounds to Shortstop (Bordick), who cuts runner (Ruth) off at the plate. Bases remain loaded.”

Except… the bases are not loaded. The runners who had occupied 1B and 2B before the play… remain at those bases. There is no runner at 3B. And the batter (Miller) is nowhere to be found.

Will also send a note to GO Support…
