    All Pro Software has scheduling and stat keeping software. As far as the scheduling software, it has limited parameters, but can work around most of them.

    @dandy982002 It was a fun tournament. Jerry did a great job of organizing and moving it along at a good pace. Each individual team is $3. That’s how I buy my teams. $3 at a time and before you know it, you have a stockpile of teams you like. You can also buy seasons and special sets. Or the Majpor League way is to become a monthly subscriber. That costs $20 every month and every team in the APBAGO library vault is at your fingertips. There are other perks that come with being a monthly subscriber, but I am not sure what they are.

    Hello,

    Thanks to everyone who responded. I think I figured it out. I wish APBA could do a better job in setting up tournaments so you don’t have to hope your opponent is online, and also to notify players who joined a tournament that it’s time to roll.

    What you need to do is go to tournament games on the main page and you see a list of your opponents and the tournament it is for. Like I said, the drawback is that you have no way of knowing if the other manager is online to play.

    @stratfordv Hi!

    Forfeit all the games, remove all the managers.

    Cheers,

    @swindy10 It’s not a pipe dream but you need to consider if you want a “draft a team league” or a player draft keeper league. Is there a theme for the league? Like a deadball league or a league of champions, or a particular decade. If it’s a draft keeper league, what are the player eligibility requirements? Every carded player eligible? or minimum plate appearances, innings pitched, or games started. How do you want to handle player injuries, etc. Hope that briefing helps you, and there are many leagues and players.

    So I wanted to revisit the Tournament point about facilitating communication for the tournament director. As I mentioned above I tried to launch several tournaments and eventually gave up and lost interest. The successful tournaments on APBAGO are administer off the site with the tournament director having all players contact information and notifying everyone of when/who to play and general communication about the tournament. The lack of this ability when setting up a APBAGO tourney on the site is why in my opinion they almost all fail. The tourney feature can be absolutely fantastic but I lost interest because of all the failed tourneys because of no communication functionality. I just wanted to restate this in the hope it is in the works. Again, I think tournaments on the site have massive potential…but they are DOA without this communication functionality, When signing up for a tournament you should be required to give your email address and cell phone number. In my mind if someone is not willing to do that they are serious about playing in the tournament.
