The 1st ever When I was a kid tournament. To register email me name, user name, date of birth, email, text number (optional and will be shared with all players in the tournament) and finally your preferred franchise (must have been in existence from the year you were born until you were 20). The teams won’t be fair but let’s face it, in baseball the teams are not necessarily fair each season depending on franchise philosophy. The idea is to have a little fun playing a team from your youth and maybe relive a few memories. SIGN UP DEADLINE 10 PM EST December 9th, 2019. I will send an email out in the evening of December 10th, 2019 with the round 1 pairings. Goal is each round to last 1 week. Each player will choose a franchise and give me the year you were born. Then a random number generator will give us a number between 1 and 20. Your team will be from the franchise you choose and the year you were born plus the random number. (Example you picked KC and you were born in 1955 and the random number was 15 you would be the 1970 Royals). They will then be placed in a double-elimination format with best of 3 vs. their opponents. (Semifinals is best of 5, championship is best of 7). gochiapet@gmail.com or 740-361-1924
