Had a weird box score glitch today. 1952 Pirates beat the '39 Browns 3-2. (Note: no errors for Pittsburgh)…

Two fairly straightforward runs for the Browns. No errors or passed balls were involved. Yet, in the final box score, Pirates’ pitcher Woody Main (who went the distance) is charged with only ONE earned run…

    Screen Shot 2023-05-26 at 12.58.22 PM.png

Not a biggie, that’s for sure. But there’s a minor bug in there somewhere. Strange thing is… I’m not even sure which of the two runs was credited as being unearned…

Another one today. Roger Craig (D) gave up four runs in the bottom of the third, all of which were earned. Yet the final box score shows that the runs went into the books as unearned…

It is the bottom of the 3rd

User has manually entered dice roll
    Result: SINGLE to right

Result: SINGLE to right; runner to 3rd
Pete CASTIGLIONE SINGLES to right, Murry DICKSON to 3rd.

    Pittsburgh PIT rolls a 2 and 3
    It’s a 29 on Dick GROAT’s card.
User has manually entered dice roll
    Using Fielding 3
    Result: Out at 1st; runner to 2nd; other holds A-P PO-1B (K-SO; PO-C)
Roger CRAIG fields Dick GROAT’s come backer, looks Murry DICKSON back to third and throws Dick GROAT out at first. Runners at second and third.

    Pittsburgh PIT rolls a 4 and 5
    It’s a 14 on Gus BELL’s card.
User has manually entered dice roll
    Using Fielding 3
Result: Base on balls; filling the bases
BASES LOADED. Roger CRAIG walks Gus BELL to load them up.

    Pittsburgh PIT rolls a 4 and 2

Still happening. Cardinals (Bats 3 Pre) scored only one run off the Reds’ Paul Derringer in a 6-1 loss.

It occurred in the bottom of the sixth:
    FLYOUT to RF
    FOUL BALL
    FLYOUT to CF
    DOUBLE
    TRIPLE
    FLYOUT to SS

Definitely an earned run. Yet the box score (and Collections) claims it is unearned.
