Does individual fielding come into play or does it go by the team rating?

@hemingway488 at this point it is solely the team rating. When the more advanced master game elements are introduced, there should be more individual rating usage and more managerial control. Hang in there.

Cool. Enoying the game so far nonetheless.

I am new to the APBA Go game but played APBA board game as a teen in the 60’s. I am enjoying the game but I am wondering when more advanced elements will be introduced and what they might be?

Hey that’s a question that’s been asked a lot around here…let me tell you what I’ve been told.
There is a laundry list of items that are being developed before the master (more advanced) elements are being introduced. Items such as an upgraded tournament feature and an in house league manager are in the works.
Hope this helps!!!
IMHO I have noticed Jeremy and the admin active lately in the player list…new elements being tested…? We shall see

Thanks I will wait as others do. Meanwhile I am playing a tournament solitaire style with 2018 season. I am using 25 man rosters with either 12 pitchers and 13 batters or vice versa. I just use the games played or innings or at bats to figure out my roster. I try, probably like most others to be as truthful as possible. I pinch hit left / righty even though i am not sure it matters but basically try to manage a game like I think it should be. One example one team I played had an A relief pitcher but he only played like 4 innings. He will not be on my roster of 25. My tournament I had to add two teams to make a 16 team bracket for each league. No rhyme or reason but i took the worst teams in each league from 1989, Braves and Tigers. I play each series to first to 10 wins. So far Boston beat O’s 10 -2 . Twins beat Angels 10 games to 8 . and right now i am playing Brewers and Marlins. It is 6 games to 1 for Brewers. I only choose high games so I could accumulate a lot of stats and have some sort of pitching rotation. Also I have played old teams too from the 60’s when i had the board game as a teen. It has been fun, but a more advanced version will be interesting.Meanwhile I will do like I am thinking most players here and just treat it like a real game and make moves that made sense and are correct based on games played. I have a few other rules I go by but they are boring lol
