APBA GO PayPal Account Transfer
-
Hi Everyone,
On Thursday, February 29th, we’ll be having a maintenance window at 7 a.m. EST.
During that maintenance window, we’ll be switching from the PayPal account we’ve been using since APBA GO launched (Lixar I.T.) to one called “APBA Games”.
This is to improve some administration efficiencies, and also cut down on the number of people contacting support about not recognizing Lixar I.T. on their credit card billing statements.
As of that deployment, everything you buy from APBA GO will appear to be from APBA Games on your credit card statement, your PayPal account or your bank statement.
SUBSCRIBERS
The only hitch in this plan is that existing subscribers will have to re-subscribe to APBA GO when their subscription ends.
When your subscription expires, visit the APBA GO store and the default subscriptions tab.
Click the subscribe button, and follow the process at PayPal.
Subscriptions continue to be for 30 days, and cost $20 USD per payment.
Your old subscriptions with the Lixar I.T. account will be cancelled before the end of day on the 29th by support.
Going forward, those wishing to unsubscribe can now do so on the subscription tab in the store, solving yet another long-standing issue.
If you have any questions, please post them in this thread and I will answer them ASAP.
Thanks,
JeremyPlease note:
- If you choose to resubscribe before your current subscription ends, any extra time will be added to the duration of your existing subscription. If and when you cancel, your subscription benefits will continue until the time purchased expires.
- Access to any features or benefits associated with a subscription that is cancelled return when the subscription is renewed

@APBA-GO-Jeremy All of my stuff will be saved correct like every team i made. I am confused by this email Dave
-
@APBA-GO-Jeremy so i will receive a notice on Thursday and it will be easy right? You said it was being done through paypal will they know to stop repeating it? I am pretty dumb about that stuff
-
So, no effects for those that just own seasons, etc., right? This change just affects those subscribing?
-
@falcon4fever Correct.
Thanks,
Jeremy -
Despite re-reading this several times, I’m still somewhat confused. I tried to just go ahead and resubscribe now, but could find no way to do that. All I found in the store was a tab that said “unsubscribe”. Do I start with that?

Hi Everyone,
Our maintenance deployment was successful.
Everyone’s subscription on the old paypal account was cancelled successfully.
The store subscription tab should show how much time remaining your current subscription.
There should also be clearer buttons for re-subscribing, including a ‘pay with credit card’ option.
For those of you who want to subscribe and immediately unsubscribe, PayPal requires up to a few hours of processing time after a subscription is created before it can be cancelled. We are updating the user interface to reflect this, and will deploy an update later today.
Thanks,
Jeremy -
It turns out that PayPal has decided to lock the account because it is new and appeared fraudulent (despite us processing many test transactions over the past month).
This decision has been appealed, but it will take 5 days to resolve (at most).
I will grant all subscriptions an extra 30 days of time to account for this unforeseen issue.
Unfortunately, anyone trying to make on-off purchases will have to wait until this issue is resolved.
Apologies, everyone, it shouldn’t be this hard.

Hi Again, on a Sunday, even…
PayPal appears to have lifted all restrictions on our account following an appeal process.
Things should be working as intended for all purchases through the store.
If you continue to encounter difficulties, please let support know.
Thanks,
Jeremy -
Other players cannot find my account online to challenge me, but I can challenge them.

@AbitaKrewe-0 Try checking your availability status by mousing over your username. It should be green.
Thanks,
