Substitutions When a Team is Atbat

I’m new to APBA GO. Is it possible to pinch hit, pinch run, or make substitutions when a team is up to bat?

Of course. First, hit the pitch button, then you can pinch hit with the other team. You make defensive/pitching changes before you hit the pitch button. Remember the game was designed to play vs each other online before they added solo play, and for online they really needed to make sure both teams wouldn’t try to make changes at the same time.
