In solitaire mode is there a way to go back and change a play after hitting the button? I accidentally intentionally walked a poor hitting pitcher with two out in an inning to “get to” Ty Cobb. It didn’t affect the outcome of the game but it would be nice to be able to change a goof like that.

@marunyon Hi! There is no way to take back a play. On a separate note, I created a ticket to space out the buttons a little more intelligently on the action bar, which should cut down on mistakes like these. Things are a bit cramped as-is.

Sounds good. The buttons are a bit cramped on the iPad (but I’m really glad I can play on it now)

@marunyon I am the king of accidentally bunting. I typically have my eye on the text results area, and leave the mouse on the pitch/hit button, but when runners are on base, more buttons appear and the cursor is then over bunt. I must have accidentally bunted 50 times. =)

@apba-go-jeremy That spacing did help… but I still bunt sometimes on accident. If you the pitch/hit dialog would only resize down instead of bouncing up on the screen, I don’t think it would happen at all.

Jeremy, I fully realize this would be low priority on the to-do list… but do you think it might be possible in the future to add some type of “take back a play” function?
I had a solitaire tournament game a while back where a home team was losing by two runs in the ninth inning. They had a fast runner on second with two out. I actually had him playing safe, as his run was meaningless. Yet he was thrown out trying to steal third… to end the game.
I suppose one could argue that bonehead plays happen in real life. But it just seemed like a lousy way to end what had been a good game. To at least have the option to NOT have it end that way would have been good.
Love GO. Keep up the great work.
