age means what in HOF set

what does “age” mean next to HOF players list when you purchase the set?

I don’t own any of the HOF sets. But I know that, on the many teams I DO own, the player’s ages match up pretty well with those on baseballreference dot com. And those ages are as of June 30th of that particular season.
So maybe APBAGO files adopt the same June 30th criteria for listing player’s ages? But I honestly don’t know. -
@RandySteinman It should be the same as whatever is on the printed cards.
