New Box Score glitch (Pitcher)
-
I think this is a new issue. At least, I have never noticed it before.
'94 Expos routed the '85 Yankees 8-1. To start the fifth inning, Rich Bordi had relieved New York starter Joe Niekro. Bordi faced four Montreal batters, retiring none. All four had a base hit, and three of them scored before Bordi was relieved by Rod Scurry. Here is my handwritten scoresheet…
But in the Postgame box score… and also in the Game History box score… Bordi is nowhere to be found in the pitching lines.
Interestingly, Bordi’s poor outing IS reflected in Collections… which is the most important thing. But it’s weird that the box scores have no record of him having appeared in this game.

@RandySteinman Would you be able to send the play by play file to support@apbago.com?
Thank you,
Jeremy -
@APBA-GO-Jeremy I’m afraid I have already closed the game. (Not sure that the p-b-p file is still accessible for me?) But I did send details to GO Support.

@RandySteinman If you have a subscription or purchased the Unlimited Unlock play-by-play files are located in Game History. Find the game in question, press the Play by Play button, and it will download. Attach the download to an email and you’re in business.
Thanks,
Jeremy -
My dice apparently want to help you guys fix these issues today :)
This game gave me another example of this glitch… Bill Lee came in to pitch the Bottom of the 9th and gave up a walk off homer to the first batter he faced. He is not on the pitching line.
Interestingly, not only did he (correctly) get the loss, but the win was also correctly given out, when in previous similar games it was not.
Lee’s stats were properly tabulated in the stat collection.

Another similar example today:
'11 Cardinals lost to '16 Cubs. (pic 1)
But the final boxscore does not reflect the final St. Louis pitcher, Octavio Dotel, who faced one batter to get the final out in the bottom of the 8th. (pic 2)
The Game History boxscore also fails to show Dotel. (pic 3)
But, good news, Dotel’s appearance IS tabulated in my Collections.
