    @TSBL

    It is a new version of 1984 with all players carded, I believe.

    Thanks,
    Jeremy

    @APBA-GO-Jeremy Just asking, but why, if I already bought 1984, do I not get my set upgraded when an R set comes out? I hate the fact that I have to buy a “new” set when I already own 75% (strictly an estimate on my part) of the cards.

    @HOFfridge That’s a question for Alpharetta, I’m afraid.

    I imagine it has to do with covering the cost of carding the extra players.

    But I really don’t know; we don’t have anything to do with data.

    Thanks,
    Jeremy

    so do you know if in an R set any of the original cards change or is it just those same cards again plus all the other originally un-carded guys?

    @TSBL That’s a tough one. I would imagine that the cards would not change, EXCEPT for instances where a correction to card data was made during the period of time between original and R releases.

    I know it does happen, as the community often reports glaring card errors, and the files do get updated with corrections.

    But generally, these are one-offs, not a redo of all the original data.

    I hope that helps, but like I said, this is really not my area of expertise.

    Thanks,
    Jeremy
