GYA’s is a salary cap draft league whose first season is 1950. A 1 division 10 team league.
Bill the Chill and the Kville Riot dominated the regular season going 75-33 faced off against DevToth’s Flockville Flamingo’s(55-53). K’ville downed the Flamingos 3 -1. Second place Frankie’s Four-Baggers lead by deMello23 went 64 and 44 played pwdparis@yahoo and his Niagara Falls Horsehoes(58-50). The Horseshoes trotted to a 3-1 victory in the series.
Niagara Falls shocked the world in the World Series. Finished 17 games behind K’ville in the regular season and got hot at the right time and pwdparis rode them to the Championship in 5 games.
Andy Pafko was the 1950 MVP and Warren Spahn was named Cy Young winner.

1951 is in the books with the K’ville Riot raise the World Series trophy. K’ville defeated the Beantown Bad Pugs in round one in four games while the Chicago Blues turned back Frankie Four Baggers in 4 games. Chicago had the best record going 69-39 while K’ville finished second 65-43 in the regular season. Kville got hot at the right team and won the world series in 4 straight games.
Roy Campanella lead the league with 37 homeruns while Gil Hodges lead with 101 rbis and 83 runs scored, Minnie Minoso was fleet of foot stealing 36 bases. Elmer Valo hit 327 and Nellie Fox was hit 19 times. Larry Jensen won 18 games, Ellis Kinder saved 20 games and had a league leading 1.46 era. Vic Raschi struck out 116.
