Record does not equal games played

Replaying 1973 Mets. 50 games played. Record is 22-27 which is 49 games. Anything I should look for to correct this? Cannot figure out what happened.
So my collection reads 50 games 22-27
Interestingly, the 73 Mets were 23-27 through 50 games.

After counting game by game te record is 22-28. Standings show 22-27. Cannot figure out why.
-
@vinman happens with rain outs on mine.
-
@striker2550 it is definitely a loss against Houston. Houston is only other team showing one less game in the win loss column than games played. In those 6 games all the scores are posted.
-
Make sure you have properly added the game to Collections. That’s where I’d start.
I have also seen records (standings) effected when a pinch-hitter is incorrectly credited as being the winning pitcher. So it could be that, too.
-
Found it. One of the games against Houston in which they lost is listed as a Rain Out. No winning or losing pitcher.
-
@striker2550 it is indeed a rain out. So Houston was winning but it went 5 innings and it is listed as a rain out with no winning or losing pitcher. So the standings read 50 games played 22 wins 27 losses.
What is best way to handle? Play make up at end of year?
Im following along with the schedule so I want this replay game 51 and so on to correspond with 1973.
-
@vinman I would play a double header the next time those teams play.
-
@vinman its a rainout for sure happens to me a bit as i replay seasons
I just delete rainouts and re play game because they dont follow MLB rain out rules
they count the stats but don’t count the game regardless of inning -
Ended up deleting and replaying game. This eliminated the rain out stats. Now everything is in order. Through 50 games the replay has the same record as the 1973 Mets. Thanks for all the input.

@vinman I have started to pick “re-roll rain outs” at the Game set up screen. Any roll resulting in a rain out gets a re-roll and the Game continues. At least I think that’s how it works. If there are any clear concise rules, I sure can’t find them. :(
-
@striker2550 thanks, never noticed that until now
-
@striker2550 Yes, I do the same. Rain-outs were always a pain for me when playing solitaire tournaments. By clicking on that pre-set tab, the game just continues on as if nothing happened.
