I really like the fact that I can now play APBA on my Kindle Fire 8, which lets me play at places like the student lounge while waiting for my daughter to finish her classes. It works well, although it requires some scrolling, except for one issue. During the “Set Lineup” stage, and when trying to make a substitution, it is very hard to scroll down the roster lists. I can usually get it after a few tries when setting the roster, but I basically have been stuck with the first few names on the list when trying to pinch-hit, sub, or bring in a reliever on more than one occasion. This occurs whether I try to swipe down the list or use the scroll bar. Maybe this is a limitation of the hardware, since Kindles don’t always play well with others. (They’re sort-of Android, but very fussy and proprietary.) If there is a way to fix this, though, it would be greatly appreciated. Then again, maybe I’m the only one who plays GO on a Kindle.
