Setting the line-up

Setting the lineup.

Am I doing something wrong?

When I’m setting a lineup, many times it won’t accept a substitute. The “Next” button will disappear. I have to start the game then make the change.

When setting the lineup, it will take a position player swap, sometimes.
It will never allow an outfielder swap.

Am I missing something?
I don’t understand…
