reliever double grades

Hi. I see relievers who are (A & B*) or (A & C*). Are they graded as A relievers and what does the secondary designation of B or C mean? Thanks.

@Morrisp The grade means the pitcher is better than an A. Example, if the pitcher is an A&C and the boards result would be a hit against an A, say a runner on first and a roll result that would be a 9, you would then consult the C result, which is an out at first, runner advances to second. That result is what would happen for the batter. There are also starters with those grades, just a lot rarer than the relievers each year. Hope my example helps.
