‘50 Phillies hosting ‘98 Astros. No DH’s. Manual dice rolls.
Phils batting against Randy Johnson (B-KY) and Astros’ defense is a Fielding Two.
Phils runner at first base is Goliat (average speed) with nobody out.
Next batter, Roberts, fouls off two bunt attempts and is now hitting away with an 0-2 count.
Dice roll is a 15. Play result on Roberts’ card is a 23.
Text says “Roberts strikes out looking and Goliat is thrown out trying to steal second and is ejected from the game. That’s a strike 'em out, throw 'em out.”
Bloodworth now replaces Goliat in Phils’ lineup before game can resume.
Game board now correctly shows bases empty with two out… except Roberts (the #9 hitter) is still the batter.
Have to roll with Roberts still at bat to continue. He grounds out to end the inning. Box score shows Roberts as having batted twice, while everyone else has batted just once.
Report has also been filed to GO Support Team.
