Problem with rosters

Hi all;

I enjoy the game but have an issue with the rosters.
Example
The 73 Yankees do not have Matty Alou (497 AB) on the roster, yet include Johnny Callison (138 AB) and Ron Swoboda (43 AB).

This is not impacts the game, but makes no sense. Is there a way to correct this?

Matty Alou is on the 73 St Louis Cardinals’ roster.
