Representing the (3) Snyder Bros here
-
I’m one of three brothers who started playing APBA GO in April of this year. The two oldest of us – me (John) and Bill – played the table top game from 1961-1963, and I played it, again, in the early 1970s.
Along with youngster (64) Dave, we just finished an abbreviated, 90-game, 1965 season, including 18-game schedule per team, followed by a modern playoff structure and World Series. BTW, the Braves took it, thanks to weeks of great relief by Billy O’Dell and Mack Jones power. Now we’re embarking on the 1966 season, to be followed by each season until 1973, when we’ll stop in protest of the DH.
