Roster button missing

Hi everyone, during the game the roster button appears at times and other times it is not available. I want to make a pitching change or pinch hit for a batter but the roster button is not there. Later it appears and I can make the changes. Why isn’t the roster button always there for either team to make offensive or defensive changes? We got to the bottom of the ninth, wanted to pinch hit for the pitcher but was unable due to the roster button being gone. I would appreciate any assistance that can be provided. Thank you very much. @bdkhoury Before every pitch is when the fielding team can click on the roster button to make pitching and defensive changes.
After every pitch (and before the swing) is when the offensive team can click on the roster button to make pinch-hitting and pinch-running changes. -
