Release 2.2.0
-
Hi everyone!
Release 2.2.0 includes some server-side work and the addition of some quality of life features making it easier to interact with APBA GO Baseball.
New Features:
Group Chat
- Group chats are a tool for consolidating communication around organized group play.
- Shared Collections and Tournament Collections get a link to a dedicated Group Chat. Group chats are hosted in the forum and automatically include managers who participate in a Shared Collection or Tournament.
- There is a new tab at the top of the main APBA GO Baseball page called Chats. If the chat icon is green, you have a new chat message to read. Click the tab to be taken to the forum chat page.
- An important thing to remember about Group Chats is users who join a group chat late (after creation) can not see what was said in chat before they joined. You may have to copy and paste pertinent information into chat after they join to bring them up to speed.
- Group chats are listed in the forum in chronological order, with most recent activity first. Unread chats have a different background color.
- Group chats are permanent records and can be accessed anytime through the links on Shared Collections and Tournament Collections, or via the Forum chat link
Collections PA/IP filter - Previously a combo box with specific values, both filters are now text entry fields, allowing managers to enter any minimum value they want.
Play by Play download - A button was added to the end of game Play-by-Play, allowing managers to download an html file of the output.
Updates - Managers should no longer have to refresh the page after a release to get the latest files for the game/site. It should happen automagically.
Thanks,
JeremyPlease Note: Anyone experiencing issues with the new Group Chat feature or Forums in general should delete their browser’s cookies for forums.apbago.com.

I can not tell from this announcement whether you have fixed any game bugs. Have you?
-
So when do you fix reported game bugs? will you list them by trouble ticket number or by bug description when they are fixed?

So when do you fix reported game bugs?
When stakeholders make bug fixing a priority over feature development, or when I have free resources and the required time available.
will you list them by trouble ticket number or by bug description when they are fixed?
Could go either way, depends on how many people report the same bug.
