Reaching back and a long journey ahead

Discovering APBA GO has been a great way to recapture a little bit of my childhood and my interest in baseball overall. I’ve begun a quest to create the Greatest Major Leagues made up of only world series winning teams from the past and present-one team per city. Fortunately, only 24 franchises have world series titles which makes it easy for me to divide up the National and American leagues. Again, it’s one team per franchise, so the franchises that have two championships ( like the '80 and 2008 Phillies) compete in a best of 11 series to get in. Franchises with more than two champs compete in a round robin of 10 games apiece. When all of the qualified teams are set, I will play a 154 game season. I haven’t decided on a playoff format yet, but I might die or become disinterested before I get that far! LOL So far the 2019 Washington Nationals automatically qualified and the 1957 Milwaukee Braves will represent the Braves franchise. I’ll update the progress of this odyssey for anyone who is interested!
