I know I have seen this before, but it happened to me again. An first column 11 six on a card with 6-6 at 11, only got a double. Got lucky and the same guy, Burke, won the game by breaking a 4-4 tie in the 9th.
The note on the old game board says that a 6 with a runner on third is a double for player cards with double columns. This is true regardless of whether the 6 that was the result of the roll was in the first or second column.
