Hi;
I just subscribed a few days ago and I am enjoying the game… couple of questions.
1 - How do you choose home and away games playing a micro manager… I see the option for a solitaire game, but how the micro manager always seems to be the road team. Is there a way around this?
- What does the R mean after a season name… is it revised?

@robertaxel6 Unfortunately, the micro manager is always the road team at this point. Among the changes that could be coming down the road are new micro-managers with varying styles (if you haven’t experienced this already, you will: Malcolm treats every game like it is game 7, meaning he will bring in A starters in relief or go to the bullpen when the starter is throwing a no-hitter in the 7th inning, or pinch-hit when he is up 7-0 or bunt when he is down 3 runs in the 8th).
And, yes, the R does mean the set was revised, with all the players who were on the roster at your disposal as opposed to the older sets with their limited bullpens and benches And some cards may have changed a bit as well.
If you are old enough to have played the game prior to 2013, you will notice some changes to the boards and results, particularly to the Hit and Run book. Took me some time to learn them (until I bought the new boards book from the APBA website)… At any rate, welcome. There is a great community of players on the site. Tournaments, league play, the works. You just have to look for them. -
