I want to do a replay using the actual active rosters for each team on any given day, but I can’t seem to find that info anywhere. I know that I could just go through the list of transaction logs and update the 25-man roster on a spreadsheet, but I thought there might be a website out there that would allow you to search for a team’s 25-man roster on a specific date in the past. I just can’t seem to find that info. Does anybody know of a website that could help? Thank you!

baseball-referemce.com has links to the box scores of every game (couple of different ways to get to them on the site: team pages have a season review in clickable graph form at the top or there is a calendar search page) but that would only give you the players who appeared in the game and not the entire roster. That’s as close as I have ever seen to what you are looking for, unfortunately…

@hoffridge that’s usually what I use too. I’ve been pulling up a daily list of transactions before each game to make any changes that my team (Mets) made, but it will get tricky to keep up with the other teams as I get further into the season. Sounds like historical active rosters is a void that someone needs to fill…and here I thought the internet had everything! lol
