    Basic question for someone new to this version as opposed to board game. I am not seeing the effect of Manual Dice turned on or off. Is there a way I could roll my own real dice and then enter the number? Thank you.

    Yes, when you set up your game (ie. two teams, DH or no DH, etc.) one of the options is choosing manual dice. Then when the game begins, you enter the dice numbers in the box to the bottom right of playing field. THEN click on bat (or bunt or hit & run icon). I always play it that way. Still gotta have the feel of dice in my hand. Welcome to APBA GO!

    Tried it and prefer it much more than the computer generated rolls. Far closer in pace to the real boardgame. Thanks.

    Just like the complaints in the dorm back in the 1980s. Some guys didn’t like the rattle, the shouts (or the occasional shaker hitting the wall(s)). Unamerican soccer lovers, i think they were.

      @birdsonbat Good point! That’s why manual dice rolls can be disabled when creating a game with another player.

      @tsbl

      I prefer to play with the manual dice roll as well and use an electronic dice roller. I don’t care for the noise of the dice rolls myself and I also believe that I get a “better roll” with electronic dice. The web address for it is …

      I believe manual dice rolls will make the game “void” as far as accumulating any ratings points, etc. I know this does not matter to some, but just be aware.
