2020 APBA GO Free Agent Contest
-
Congrats to kweber, BallOne and ColdPredator for being the only participants to correctly pick Anthony Rendon signing with the Angels!
-
@apba-go-jeremy
This is not going well for me. I had pegged Cole, not Rendon, going to the Angels.
And with Cole signing with New York, that almost guarantees my Bumgarner-to-the-Yanks pick will also be wrong.
Great contest again this year. But I’m in need of a minor miracle right now… Haha… -
Congrats to BallOne, the only contestant to pick Madison Bumgarner signing with Arizona.
BallOne takes the lead!
-
First place got a lot more crowded with the Keuchel and Ryu signings.
-
MikeW pulls ahead on Edwin Encarnación’s signing with the White Sox!
-
BradB3030 made the right choice for Josh Donaldson… but no one else did!
Finally, some action!
-
Marcel Ozuna’s signing with Atlanta creates a tie for first place, and leaves just two Free Agents unsigned.
Congratulations to Timdig and Paramids for selecting Atlanta.
-
Nick Castellanos signs with Cincinnati, and six people picked correctly!
Contest leadership didn’t change, meaning it all comes down to Puig.
We’re almost done!

C’mon Puig… you still have one more day to sign with Arizona for me.
Nobody’s expecting it… but you can do it.
Just one little signature. Just sign here on the dotted line…
Together, let’s shock the baseball world… :baseball: -
Ah Puig, you contentious Free Agent, you.
Looks like we’re down to a two-way tie for first, and I have to bust out the tie breaker… who was the closest contract prediction for Gerrit Cole?
MikeW - 7 years, 217 million
pararamids - 3 years, 54 millionActual: 9 years, $324 million
That makes MikeW the 2020 FA Contest Winner!
Congratulations, MikeW!
