Cannot get pinch hitter in game

When I try tp pinch hit, i cannot drag and drop the player into the spot. It just won’t go. I have no problem putting in a new pitcher. Has anybody run into this or am i just doing something wrong?

@kapperino if it’s a solitaire game. You need to push the pitch button first then you’ll be able to pinch hit.
