There are two things that I think would improve the game. One is to move the play results to the middle of the scoreboard instead of having it on the side. I find my eyes are jumping all over the place instead of focused on the whole field.

A second issue I have is that when the dice roll, I want to look it up on the card. I wish there were an option to set to delay the change to the next batter until I’ve had a chance to see the dice result and the player card. It could be as simple as to click on the batters’ card or some other icon to change to the next one. To click Previous Card after each dice roll seems to disrupt the flow of the game. That doesn’t feel like APBA.

When you have a game up and ready to go…click on “CHAT” and the text will move to the center, right under the scoreboard.

@je000000 Hi and welcome! On Micro Manager games and Solitaire games, selecting the Step Play - On flag during game setup with allow you to review the dice roll on the cards before advancing to the next turn.

For me, APBA GO began ‘feeling’ a lot more like the APBA I grew up with, once I switched to the manual dice roll option. I simply need the feel of the dice in my hand.
This also allows me to look at the number result on the player’s on-screen card, before typing in the dice result.
I don’t always do that, as it slows the game a bit. But it’s a nice option to have, for those who like to know if that roll of 2-2 is a ‘7’ or an ‘8’…

@randysteinman If you choose “step” play the players card will stay on screen until you choose to go to the next batters card. For me this was a big step forward for “Go” as I found it frustrating not to be able to see the result on the batters card before the next batter card appeared.

@nyapba I could be wrong, but I don’t think it will work when playing solitaire, as I do not think you have the “chat” option.

@x1x1x1 I use it in solitaire all the time…don’t confuse “chat” with “chat”…lol…it probably should read: TEXT
