I have found and reported the following bug. If the home team wins the game in their last at bat, AND a pinch hitter was used for the home team pitcher in that last at bat inning, THEN that batter will be credited with the win when the stats are entered into Collections. WHY? Because when you pinch hit for the pitcher, the pinch hitter is entered into the lineup as a “P”. It is only the next inning when you go to put in a new pitcher, does the pinch hitter position appear as “PH-P”. Thus when the game ended after that walk-off at bat, the last pitcher listed in the lineup is the pinch hitter and thats why he gets credit for the win.

The easiest “fix” in my opinion, is when a batter pinch hits for the pitcher, his position is immediately listed as “PH-P” and the player of the game, choses “PH”. If on the other hand the substitute is really a new picher, the game player chooses “P”. In this way the game always knows the last pitcher used.

One other problem. In the box score that is shown after the game ends and the box score that appears later in “game history” there is no line score by inning of the game. It makes it impossible to decide if a win or save was assigned correctly, if the box score is reviewed later on in time.
