Bournemouth came into this game as the nolt team without any points on the Table; they left the game with three points with a stunning 2-1 win over Arsenal. Bournemouth started fast with Felix Stanislas taking a Corner from Josh King and beating David Ospina with a header for a 1-0 Bournemouth lead. Somewhat stunned Arsenal allowed another goal, this one by Dan Gossling, also on a Corner from King. Bournemouth held a 2-nil.
Arsenal perked up at 27’ Alex Iwobi beat Asmir Begovic with an assist from Granit Xhaka. The half ended with Bournemouth on top, 2-1.
The second half saw Arsenal being a bit more dominant, but, Bournemouth held firm. Neither team a scored in the second half.

Brighton dominated play, especially in the 2nd half, but, they did not dominate on the scoreboard as the two teams played to a 1-1 tie.
West Bromwich scored forst. It came in the 6’ mary with Jay Rodriguez beating Matt Ryan with an assist from Jose Rondon. Rodriguez now has four goals on the season and is tied with Ayoze Perez of Newcastle United - each with four goals.
Jose Izquierdo scored at the 60’ mark assisted by Pascal Gross. Izquierdo did not start the game. He started the second half and replaced Anthony Knockaert, who was hit with a Yellow Card at the 20’ mark. The move payed off.

Everton picked up three points by defeating Tottenhme Hot Spur, 1- Nil. The winning goal, and only goal, was scored by Indrissa Gueye; it came in the 48’ with an assist from Gylfi Sigurdsson.
Despite the 1-Nil score this was a spirited game. Much of the action took place A,B and C sections, but, results, other than the Gueye goal, were non-existent.
Tottenham missed a huge opportunity. Dele Alli was awarded a Penalty Kick in the 79’. EVerton fans were ear splitting as Dele Alli kick missed wide.
Both Everton and Tottenham have 7 Points.

Leicester City gave up two, quick early points to Chelsea. Willian scored only three minutes into the game when his strike hit the top of the crossbar and rebounded past Kasper Schmeichel. The second Chelsea goal was driven in by Eden Hazard. This was a cris, clean shot that beat Schmeichel. After that, Leicester played fairly well.
Jamie Vardy scored on a Free Kick at the 70’ mark to cut the leadt to 2-1, Chelsea. That also proved to be the final.
Hazard’s goal give him two on the season while Willian’s goal give him three for the season.
Chelsea has won two straight matches. Leicester City still has only a single Point in the Table after four matches.

This was a back and forth match with each team dominant at various points in the game. Southampton took a 1-nil lead when Shane Long beatHeurelho Gomes at 60’ with an assist from James Ward-Prowse. As the clock ticked past 88’ it looked like Southampton would be 4-0-0 after Week 4 but, a long shot, (E), by Gerard Deulofeau with an assist from Richarlison slipped past Fraser Forster in the 89’. The score ended in a 1-1 tie.
Up until that point Forster did all that was asked of him. He had six solid saves.
Long now has two goals this season.
Southampton may have fared better but for the fact Dusan Tadic, (who has two goals this season), was ineligible for the match due to a Red Card from the last match.

For the third time in four matches Manchester United disappointed. After last weeks win Man U was hoping for another three points. Instead, Stoke City played them to a scoreless draw. At times Man U looked dominant, but at other times, Stoke City more than held their own.
The match was fiercely played with one player from each team receiving Red Cards, (Joeseph Allen from Stoke City and Luis Valencia from Man U.
After four weeks of play Manchester United have only 4 points.
Erik Pieters, (Defense), was not eligible for play fro Stoke City due to his Red Card last match.

Both of these teams came into the match winless this season. They had identical records of 0-2-1. They left the pitch still winless and still with identical records, 0-3-1.
Despite no scoring in the game the match was exciting. There was a lot of back and forth. Despite a lower Team Rating Crystal Palace stayed competitive by winning many Loose Balls.

Swansea and Newcastle came into this game sporting identical 1-1-1 records and they left with identical 1-2-1 after a 0-0 game.
The game was defensive struggle for both teams, There was only a total of six shots for the game, four by Swansea. Each team had one Shot On Goal. Swansea fans, all 21,088 started out vocal, but, they settled in a dull routine as play went back and forth. Newcastle went to an Agresive Mode to start the 2nd half bringing in Forward Jose Joselu to start the 2nd half. At 76’ Swansea followed suit when they brought in Andre Ayew. He sparked things up for Swansea but still no scoring occurred.

West Ham, (1-1-1) was invaded by Huddersfield, (1-0-2), in the final match of Week 4. The first 20 minutes of the game was fairly even, but, at the 30’ mark Manual Lanzini buried a Penalty Kick for a 1-0 West Ham lead. This started a downward spire, at least in the first half, for Huddersfield. Michail Antono’s third goal of the season came in the 37’ with an assist from “Arthur” Masuaku. West Ham extended their lead to 3-nil when Marko Arnautovic scored his third goal of the season. The half ended with West Ham on top, 3-nil.
Huddersfield went to an aggressive formation to start the second half. It seemed to work as Rajiv van La Parra scored at the 59’ mark. It was his 3rd goal of the season. At 72’ West Ham went with a Defensive alignment and Huddersfield could get no closer.

Bournemouth, (1-0-3) played host to Brighton, (1-2-1) and they played to a nil-nil draw. Bournemouth record now improves to 1-1-3 as they pick up one point. Brighton now has 6 Points and they sit a 1-3-1. Brighton had a chance to win this game. Bournemouth’s Forward, Joshua King, was sent off with a Red Card in the 26th minute and while Brighton out-shot Bournemouth, 5-2, they could not score. Brighton had four shots on goal but Asmir Begovic thwarted all four.

Crystal Palace dominated the first half of play. Seven of their eight shots in the game came in the first half. Their first goal came early. At the 3’ mark Andros Townsend took a Dirct kick, (from B, and beat Fraser Forster for a 1-nil Crystal Palace lead. It was Townsend’s first goal of the season.
The first hal of the second half was a defensive tussle, but, Southampton went to an aggressive formation at the 57’ mark and slowly they began to dominate, even though Crystal tried a more defensive posture at about 71’. The agreesive formation pad off for Southampton at the 79’ mark when Nathan Redmond beat Wayne Hennessy to tie the game at 1-1. It was Redmond’s second goal of the season and it came with an assist by Dusan Tadic, his second assist of the season.
Southampton still does not have a loss as they sit 3-0-2. Crystal Palace still is winless at 0-4-1; they have played to a draw in their last four matches.
