    WEEK 8
    10/14/2017

    (6 of 10)

    SWANSEA CITY 1 - 1 HUDDERSFIELD
SWANSEA CITY (2-3-2) vs HUDDERSFIELD (1-1-5)

SWANSEA CITY (TR2; DEF 3) vs HUDDERSFIELD (TR 2; DEF 2)

Swansea City should have won this game. They were their own worst enemy. Ki Sung-Yueng’s second goal of the season came at the 18’ mark off a Corner Kick to give Swansea City a 1-nil lead. He then did the unthinkable at the 35’ mark - he was Red Carded. Still Swansea City held their own until their second huge mistake of the game. Midfielder Samuel Clucas headed the ball in the wrong direction scoring an “Own Goal” and tying the match at 1-1 at 82’. A bitter ending for Swansea who had hopes of moving up in the Tables farther than one point

    WATFORD (2-4-1) vs ARSENAL (3-3-1)

WATFORD (TR 3; DEF 2) vs ARSENAL (TR2; DEF 2)

Not much to write about as this ws a pretty lackluster match. It did get a bit a of dram with 30 seconds remainingArsenal’s Granit Xhaka fird a shot on goal after a steal to Area B, but, as he did four other times, Heurelho Gomes stopped the shot and preserved the scoreless tie.

Due to a Red Card in Aresnal’s previous match, Defender Sead Kolasinac was ineligible for today’s match.

    BRIGHTON Nil - 1 EVERTON
    Brighton (1-4-2) vs Everton (2-2-3)

BRIGHTON (TR 3; DEF 3) vs Everton (TR2; DEF 2)

A very “quiet” match as both teams seemed to content to just run up and down the pitch. EVerton scored the only goal of the match when, at the 52’ mark, Seamus Coleman scored his first goal of the season with an assist Gylfi Sigurdsson. Everton improves their record to 3-2-3 while Brighton drops to 1-4-3.

Brighton Forward, Glen Murray, was injured at the 40’ and left the game. He is not expected to miss any time. Countering that, Everton Forward, Dominic Calvert-Lewin was ineligible for today’s contest due a Red Card he received last match.
