New Basic Game Pitching Fatigue!
-
Ok, I am clearly behind the times and while catching up I see they added Pitching Fatigue to the Basic Game!
My question is that it says once the pitcher reaches his bf adjusted total he goes down a grade when he retires the next two batters. Ok, that makes sense. But then it says if he retires the next two batters (batters number 3 and 4) he goes down on grade. Does this mean if the two happen to be the 3rd and 4th hitter he drops an additional grade to the one he lost for retiring two hitters in a row? Meaning he actually drops two?

@buffalohead yes the down grade is pretty steep, but remember that the original adjustment trumps the BF fatigue. So if your C starter hasn’t allowed any runs in 5 innings then they are up graded to a B. Same if the pitcher allows 5 or more runs in 3 innings, you would down grade before the BF limit.

What page is that in the rule book? I am also behind the times.

@falcon4fever it’s an additional sheet that can be found on the APBA website. Not sure if it’s included with the new game packages or not, but it is not in the play book.

Thanks. I will look that up.
