Release 3.0.2
-
Hi Everyone,
Today we deployed Version 3.0.2, including the following new features and improvements:
New Features:
-
Micro Managers are now compatible with Master Game mode, allowing them to operate within its rules and handle plays such as advanced base advancement, base stealing, pitching from the stretch, and in-game decision making.
-
Added a new Modern Era (1995-2005) Micro Manager, Anthony, giving users the ability to select a manager aligned with modern baseball strategies and tendencies.
Bug Fixes:
-
Runners who score will now properly be removed from the bases. Previously, runners could appear to remain on base after scoring, causing confusion in gameplay display.
-
Resolved a critical issue causing game crashes across multiple browsers. Users should no longer need to reset games or switch browsers.
Fixed an issue where runs were incorrectly counted at the end of innings. Plays that result in the third out will now correctly prevent runs from scoring when applicable. -
Corrected Rare Play “no pitch” pickoff scenarios so that the batter’s at-bat is no longer incorrectly ended. Batters will now properly resume or lead off the next inning in accordance with the rules.
-
Fixed an issue where Micro Managers in autoplay games did not behave consistently with their behavior in versus Micro Manager games. They will now manage pitching and substitutions in autoplay more accurately, in line with their existing decision making logic.
-
Stabilized pitcher grade calculations to prevent inconsistent fluctuations (e.g., repeatedly switching between A and B within the same inning). Pitcher performance adjustments will now behave as expected based on game events.
-
Fixed a Wild Pitch scenario where too many runs were scored and the batter was incorrectly awarded first base. Runner advancement and scoring now correctly follow rulebook logic.
Thank you,
-
-
As always, please let us know if anything is awry.
We snuck in some quality of life features for you to find as well.
Thanks,
Jeremy -
Great job, Kayleigh, Jeremy and crew. Were these all Master Game bug fixes? I hadn’t noticed any of those issues while playing the Basic Game.
-
@RandySteinman Thanks Randy! Yeah, the Master Game is all the rage with the kids. ;)
Thanks,
Jeremy -
I like seeing the R-L batting splits for each batter, that are now listed beside each lineup up on the scoreboard.
Nice addition! -
@RandySteinman Awesome! There will be some more QoL stuff coming soon.
-
I just played a game. I only saw the L or R beside the lineup. Is that what you are talking about or are you seeing the ex: +1/-5 splits?
-
@mariner-0 I’m just talking about the new L-R batting aids that now appear up on the scoreboard. It’s a big help to quickly glance at a team’s lineup and see which side the next few batters bat from.
-
thanks seeing the opposing team lineup in the pitcher lineup management screen nice touch! J if you can ever put in a second die roll for the 0 (zero) results would be game changing. having it auto populate to a random second column number takes away a cool part of the game imo. love the MG changes

Hi!
There seems to be some strange behavior in the master game on base advancement anytime the calculation comes out over 36. I “believe” the calculation should be: Hit Value - Arm Rating + Runner Speed. I don’t have the boards, but as there are 36 combinations on 2 dice I assume 1-36 is the ‘roll’ range. So here’s an example2 OUTS ; CONCEPCION on 2nd. Ken GRIFFEY SINGLES to right:
Result: SINGLE to right: 42 *52/44 *54/46 *56; RF (1B-SS) C (PL-to left: 46 *56/48 *58/50 *60; LF (3B-2B) C) SAC: Batter out; A-1B PO-2B†
Sub-Result: game-cso-2I assume game-cso-2 is a roll of 2 so first group = Hit Value of 52. Right Fielders Arm is 33 and Runner Speed is 18 = 52-33+18 = 37. This is what the advancement dialogue told me and gives a percentage of 99.00% (Actually should be 37/36 = 102.78%…automatic). But the play by play says:
The defense throws to catch out Dave CONCEPCION
A 5 is rolled against Dave CONCEPCION’s 1
The 1 is 36 less than the calculation and is 2.78% instead of 102.78%
I have seen many examples of this and it’s always when the calculation is OVER 36 it seem to roll against that number - 36.I had some screenshots, but can’t seem to copy them here. Anyone else notice this? Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks!!!
