Hey everyone…
I just purchased the season replay option. I’ve started to replay the 1992 season.
I’ve noticed that the micro manager (the standard one thats free to use) will put in players to pitch when it’s a low scoring game? Also, other starters will be used as relievers when they never relieved during the season!! Is there an option to stop this insanity??? lol or do I just have to live with this? -
@Tazmanean_Devil From what you’re describing you’re likely using Malcolm, the World Series final win-at-all-costs manager.
He will regularly use the best pitcher available regardless of their starter/reliever status.
Try using Pedro instead, he’s a more rational.
As for using players to pitch, that shouldn’t happen in 1992 and should be reported as a bug.

Taz… Here’s a good, quick way to ensure that Starting Pitchers never get used in relief: When you’re setting up your lineups, simply click on the ‘Thumbs Up’ icon for each player you don’t want entering that game (ie. other starting pitchers, overused relievers, injured players). Clicking on that icon should turn it to a Thumbs Down… and make them ineligible to ever enter the game. It’s a simple way to prevent issues like you describe.
