    If you go to the APBA Games site, search the Master Game, and there is a document with the Game Instructions that explains the game in detail.

    Thanks Steve. I have read that document very carefully and gleaned a lot out of it. My only problem is that the references to die numbers and charts don’t mean much to me as I never used the Board game. However, I played extensively the Baseball for Windows game including at the time being able to manipulate the underlying data to customize players. Any questions I have, hopefully not too many, are related to the grey areas. For example with the hit and run no. 72 which you are fixing, the Master Game manual does not say what the number range is from low to high, only that 72 is average. It also doesn’t say what the chances are for success of a hit and run unless that is now found in the runner on first base percentages which now are being shown but not always.

    The hit and run success is relative to the H&R number, which is the number of 31s on a player’s card. Every player has a red 31 at black 34. Some cards have more 31s. Without explaining in excruciating detail how the board game works, I would suggest reading the help files in APBA Baseball for Windows. APBAGo and BBW are both based on the APBA Master Game, but APBAGo is a more direct port.

    @Steve_Admin

    Steve -

    I appreciate the info, but going to APBA website I enter master game in the search field but I could not find the file. All I got was products for sale. Can you please step me through it.

    On an other issue, the following player card did not appear - DELAUTER, Chase

    Best regards,
    Gus

    It would be nice if the Instructions for using the Master Game Addition that displayed two sample cards, one for hitters and one for pitchers, that identified where and what each ‘code’ was

    Burleigh Grimes & Dolf Luque cards in GO have Q number. Grover Alexander and Dolf Luque cards don’t have HR letters. How does that affect the game

    @Gus Either under Games or shop, click on Baseball Games. Scroll down to where the link is for ‘Master Addition,’ and the instructions document is there.

    The instructions document tells you what the codes are but it does not show you where each one is located on the card

    Have you looked at the cards? The Q rating is located directly beneath the Q. The Home Run Allowance rating is located directly underneath the HRA. The Platoon Rating is at the bottom of the card in the center. I am not sure I understand the complication with the location of the ratings.

    @Gus When I search for Chase DeLauter in custom teams, there is no card. When I find him in My Addons, he is listed on the 2025 Cleveland Roster, there is a line for Chase DeLauter with no stats. When I try to set up a game, Chase DeLauter has a card and may be used in a game.
