Master game bug

1. is this the proper forum?
2. I haven’t been able to attempt a steal of third. And when I try a double steal of 2nd and 3rd, the only steal that’s offered is the steal of second, and if it succeeds, the runner that used to be on 2nd disappears.

Probably NOT a bug - steal of 3rd was not allowed by the allowance letter. But there’s still a bug calling for a steal of an occupied base - the baserunner on that base disappears.

You really need to know the Master game rules- I had forgotten about the steal allowance chart. Also there are all the Knick knacks- wild pitch ratings, passed ball ratings, catcher throw rating, pitcher move to first. If you have never played the Master Game I could see missing a lot of the nuances!

Remember, this isn’t APBA Baseball for Windows. The Millers grew up playing APBA and knew the game. The development team members are developers and will be true to the rules in a much more literal sense. Where BBW may allow a Hit & Run with an N or R runner on 1st, the MG Rules and the Steal Allowance Chart may not allow that. Little things like that will be limiting from a baseball perspective, but more in line with the actual Master Game.

One thing I noticed is the the +'s aren’t showing up on the hitters batter’s characteristics - Like Langeliers is a -6/-4. I think maybe the -6 is actually a dash? I think he should be a +6/-4? I noticed this some other places
