Pitching for BOTH teams
-
Playing with BATS 2, Reds at Royals. Royals pitcher chased mid-inning, put Dennis Leonard in to finish inning. Pinch-hit for him in the bottom of the inning and he ended up appearing on the mound for both teams. He wasn’t in the lineups as I was able to make roster moves, but he had all the pitching stats from the time he went into the game. Box score shows the two other KC and one Cincy pitcher with no stats.

I have seen this many times. I have traced it to clicking the pitch button too soon after making a lineup change. Force yourself to wait until you see the substitute appear on the field and in the lineups. It still get antsy sometimes and it happens (did today), but for the most part you can avoid it.

@apba-go-jeremy yes, it was
a solitaire game -
@hoffridge I also saw today that I pitching change I made didn’t appear to take, before I hit the pitch button. I went back into the lineup… I couldn’t put him in because he was listed as already being used… so I just closed the lineup… and boom… he appeared in the lineup as he should have been. I was then allowed to finish the game. Before I have replaced the awry pitcher with someone else and tried to finish… but that just messes it up more.
