Pitching issue has cropped up

When I play “Challenge a MicroManager” I have a new issue that occurs in my recent games: Malcolm will only use starting pitchers when he goes to the bullpen. The first 456 games I played, Malcolm would use his bullpen and bring in relivers. The last ten games or so, Malcolm is only bringing in starting pitchers as his bullpen. I have tried looking at rules, but I have not changed anything. Any recommendations?

Anytime I want to ensure that certain players do not get used in a specific game, I will click on their ‘thumbs down’ icon when setting up the lineups. Am honestly not sure if that option is available when challenging a Micromanager. But if it is, simply click ‘thumbs down’ on any of Malcolm’s starting pitchers that you don’t want him to be able to use in relief. That should work. (This is also great for making sure that injured players and overused relievers don’t get used when they shouldn’t.)
