They have a Championship tournament at the convention each year for the card and dice players but what about those who play APBAGO? I’ll tell you what I held an UNofficial APBAGO championship tournament.
23 guys choose teams from 1900-1999 with a winning percentage UNder 500. It was double elimination with each round being a best of 3 series.
Jkoppe and the 1979 Cubs won 5 straight series and only lost 1 game on their way to becoming the APBAGO 2024 National Champion. Demello23 and the 1921 Tigers won their first series before losing to the 1975 Giants, once in the lower bracket the Tigers won 5 straight series before running into the Cubs in the championship series.
