2024 card file?
-
Just saying, I have been playing face to face, Master game for 8 years BUT new to GO. Is the rush for the file because you are able to start playing GO as soon as you get the file?
-
I don’t play games on Go - I use it as a resource for my retro league and for the first peak. I have a subscription because its also a really fun history of baseball APBA style. Last night for some reason I was thinking about one of my favorite players - Reggie Sanders - and I went back and looked at all of his cards. I am a nerd, but I thought it was really fun!

There is a sneaky reason why APBAGo, the cards and the disk do not share all the same information. Those buggers at APBA.
-
@jmbrad Yes, you can play APBA Go as soon as you purchase the file. Many use it as a resource for the new cards getting ready for upcoming drafts

@APBA-GO-Jeremy
Can you tell us if the file could come at any point during the day or if we don’t see the season available in the morning we don’t need to keep checking throughout the day? -
Thanks i am sure you have no control over when you get the file and will update us on any news
-
@APBA-GO-Jeremy Is it possible to explain the process to us so it helps us understand how it works? It not, no worries.
signed all the little kids waiting for Christmas morning :) -
@mattlandis Data comes from the folks in Alpharetta when they clear it as good to go.
I post it after I get it whenever I get it, 24h a day.
As you can imagine, it represents a significant portion of our busiest sales cycle of the year, so there’s no messing around on our end about making it available.
Anything that happens in Alpharetta is a black box to us; we have no influence or insight into what happens on their end regarding the card creation process.
Thanks,
Jeremy -
From this week’s APBA newsletter:
Now you’re as informed as I am. :P
-
Thank you, Jeremy. We are all excited to see the 2024 cards I’m sure.
