its disappointing. Second year in a row GO is late. Website stated due Thanksgiving. That
was 4 days ago. Company should not state any date Go should be ready if it can’t deliver.
Better not to state any date. Why not say hoping for Thanksgiving but only estimate.

mariner, Phillyj… I’m not really a card-scroller. But I’d think the easiest way would be to create a game between two teams I want to scroll.
Once it’s loaded on the Great American Ball Park screen, click on the blue ‘Roster’ tab beneath either starting lineup.
To the left of each player’s name is a tab consisting of three blue lines.
Click on the leadoff hitter’s tab, then click his green ‘Player Card’ tab (on the top right).
Simply move down the lineup, clicking on each player’s ‘three blue lines’ tab.
Not as easy as shuffling through APBA player cards by hand. But it’s still fairly quick.

RandyS you can also real quick add a custom team built off a real team. just click the “new team” and “based on” and instantly can scroll all the players on the team then just delete it do another team when done scrolling /clicking each player

Custom teams is the easiest way you can load all hitters or pitchers. Cost $10 but that’s good for life. Th

Just saying, I have been playing face to face, Master game for 8 years BUT new to GO. Is the rush for the file because you are able to start playing GO as soon as you get the file?

Not for me - it gives a window into the cards, defensive ratings, at least basic game grades more than a month (almost two if you wait for the BBW file) - so its the first peak at what you have to work with!

I don’t play games on Go - I use it as a resource for my retro league and for the first peak. I have a subscription because its also a really fun history of baseball APBA style. Last night for some reason I was thinking about one of my favorite players - Reggie Sanders - and I went back and looked at all of his cards. I am a nerd, but I thought it was really fun!

There is a sneaky reason why APBAGo, the cards and the disk do not share all the same information. Those buggers at APBA.

@jmbrad Yes, you can play APBA Go as soon as you purchase the file. Many use it as a resource for the new cards getting ready for upcoming drafts

    @APBA-GO-Jeremy
Can you tell us if the file could come at any point during the day or if we don’t see the season available in the morning we don’t need to keep checking throughout the day?

@thirdout I want to sell it more than you want to buy it - so it goes up 15 min or so after I get it, whenever I get it. Hope that helps.

Thanks Jeremy - feel free to not answer this - but when do you usually call it a day? It would be great to know when I can stop obsessively checking!

@APBA-GO-Jeremy Is it possible to explain the process to us so it helps us understand how it works? It not, no worries.
signed all the little kids waiting for Christmas morning :)

@mattlandis Data comes from the folks in Alpharetta when they clear it as good to go.

I post it after I get it whenever I get it, 24h a day.

As you can imagine, it represents a significant portion of our busiest sales cycle of the year, so there’s no messing around on our end about making it available.

Anything that happens in Alpharetta is a black box to us; we have no influence or insight into what happens on their end regarding the card creation process.

    Thanks,
    Jeremy
