completed 10 seasons in GO home vs away win pct Home .503 to Away .497
sure wish we had park effects or something. Our FTF league is .522 vs .478 not as many games but big difference because we use master game with some “home field tweeks” and park effects. We build our teams to take advantage of our home park effects -
In the history of MLB, the home-field win advantage has consistently been about 54%. So your GO results are actually very close, regardless of the decade you replay…

Last year, my son actually came up with a great house rule when we play APBA. Once a game, the HOME manager gets to re-roll. This one-time re-roll can be used any time during the game, even extra innings. Works great. -
@RandySteinman like that rule seems fun

@TSBL It’s a great little house rule. Easy to do. Makes for a strategic decision. The home manager can only re-roll his own dice roll, though. (Otherwise he could simply negate a three-run homer by the visiting team.) Not sure the rule does enough to swing the home team to a 54% advantage on a game like APBA, but it sure can’t hurt.
