What is Step Play??
I like to play an extended Series between 2 teams.
If I put the teams into a Collection, does that just maintain stats,
or does it do something so a pitcher who just went 8 innings the game before will be tired for the next game and shouldn’t be selected to start… or is that up to me to “thumbs up” or “thumbs down” availability?? -
Based on my research the only fatigue rule is in optional pitching rule which knocks the pitcher down one grade after 5 earned runs. The only way (as far as I know) to keep Tom Seaver out after pitching 8 innings today is a thumbs down. Keep in mind, if you are playing autoplay, it will also have Tom Seaver closing games if he is not Thumbs down. You probably want to eliminate your starters (at least the main starters) from being eligible.
